Individual Coaching
Come as you are
Individual coaching is a container for what's actually happening in your life — not the version of it that's easiest to present. It's spacious enough to hold complexity, and structured enough that you don't have to carry it alone.
Our Space Together
I'm Alison Avigayil, a certified Health & Wellness Coach, movement chaplain, and grief worker.
My own path — through burnout, through loss, through rebuilding — isn't a story I finished and now teach from a distance. It's still underway. What I bring into this work is the toolkit I've actually used, on the ground, not a formula assembled at a remove from it.
In our work together, you can expect:
Clarity on what's actually going on, what matters most now, and the next right step
A holistic approach that works with the full ecology of your life, not one isolated symptom
Supportive, flexible structure — with room for joy and play, not just problem-solving
Culturally relevant ritual alongside science-backed tools; secular, reflective, or spiritually integrated, by request
Trauma-informed pacing: nervous system awareness, clear boundaries, consent at every step
Gentle accountability that respects neurodivergence and ADD/ADHD as ways of moving through the world, not deficits to manage around
Coaching can be fully secular, lightly reflective, or spiritually integrated by request.
Who This is For
You’ll likely find my services supportive if you are:
Ready to make a change, but feel stuck on where to start, or in the middle of a major transition and wanting real structure.
Carrying grief, moral injury, heartbreak or disillusionment that hasn’t had anywhere to go
Navigating burnout or chronic overwhelm from work that matters to you — especially work dirven by social good: activist, organizer, caregiver or faith leader
Coming from a multicultural or interfaith background, rebuilding your relationship to spirituality
Sensitive, intuitive and/or neurodivergent, and looking for a consent-based approach built with that in mind.

Specializations Include
-
A death, a diagnosis, a breakup, a life that didn't turn out the way you expected — grief doesn't need a political or ancestral frame to be real. We work with what's actually unresolved, at the pace it asks for, without rushing you toward closure or a tidy story about what it meant.
-
Grief for a warming world, a vanishing species, a river you no longer recognize — this is real grief, not sentimentality, and it doesn't need to be resolved into optimism to be worked with. Together we build the capacity to stay present to what's actually being lost, so that presence can open into re-orientation rather than numbness or despair. This work is offered in the lineage of Rev. Sara Jolena Wolcott's Sequoia Samanvaya and its practice of rematriation and Beloved Kinning — I'm a student in this tradition, not its author, and I bring it into coaching as one more place where the same practice of staying with loss applies.
-
Some of what you're carrying didn't start with you. Inherited silence, family patterns that repeat without anyone choosing them, grief that was never metabolized by the people who came before — this work makes room to meet what's been passed down, and to be the one who finally stays with it instead of passing it on unchanged.
-
For people doing work driven by justice, human rights, or care for a world in crisis — the exhaustion that isn't just tiredness, the grief that has nowhere sanctioned to go, the moral injury of what you've seen or couldn't stop. This is ongoing terrain I know from the inside, not a subject I studied from a distance.
-
Whether it's a family estrangement or a divide shaped by history and conflict, this is the practice of staying present across real harm without turning away — not rushing to forgiveness, not performing resolution, but building the capacity for two sides to actually be in the room together.
Pricing
I use a values-based sliding scale grounded in both income and wealth awareness.
Please consider the following when choosing your rate:
Do you have access to generational wealth, property, or investments?
Do you earn a high income but support others financially?
Do you carry significant debt or have limited earning potential due to health, caregiving, or other factors?
Do you have a safety net or family support you can rely on in times of need?
This is a trust-based sliding scale. You know your circumstances best — and your choice helps me offer accessible rates to others.
Single 1:1 Session
1 session (50 - 90 minutes)
Specific problem or decision that needs to be addressed.
We'll work together to identify what matters and set you up with your next steps in one conversation.
Suggested rates: $100 - $350
Creating Clarity
1 month - 3 Sessions (50 - 90 minutes each)
Problems with patterns. Bigger decisions. Shifts in your landscape.
We’ll work together on a specific decision or block. Identifying the problem, potential solutions and steps forward.
3 session package (3% discount)
Structuring Change
3 months - 9 sessions (50 - 90 minutes each)
Larger life transitions and identity-level shifts: when multiple areas of life need to realign—not all at once, but with care, pacing, and real support.
Together, we’ll clarify what’s ending, what’s emerging, and what needs to be rebuilt from the inside out.
You’ll leave with a new inner orientation—and an outer plan to match it—so your transformation becomes lived reality, not just insight.
9 session package (5% discount)
Metamorphosis
6 months - 18 sessions (50 - 90 minutes each)
Structural changes with many dependencies (habits, relationships, capacity, career, money, time, identity).
We’ll “deconstruct the arch” together: name what’s load-bearing, what’s cracked, and what’s no longer yours to carry. Then we’ll rebuild—thoughtfully and realistically—so the supports match the life you’re actually living.
You’ll leave with a coherent plan, clearer priorities, and a structure you can maintain.
18 session package (7% discount)

As a certified wellness coach, more work is more focused on supporting you in breaking down complex problems, creating and achieving goals. Many clients work with me alongside therapy. I’m happy to work with your existing therapy or to help you find the right person to work with if this is a step you want to take.
-
No problem! In the consult, we’ll clarify what you’re facing and choose a starting point. Many people touch multiple areas over time (wellness + grief, creativity + transition, etc.).
-
Yes. My approach is trauma-informed, meaning we prioritize safety, choice, pacing, consent, and nervous-system awareness. We’ll work in a way that respects your history and capacity—without pushing, forcing catharsis, or using shame as “motivation.”
Coaching isn’t a substitute for therapy, but it can be a steady complement to therapeutic work. -
Yes. I work with many clients who identify as ADHD, autistic, highly sensitive, gifted, or otherwise neurodivergent. These are my people! We’ll adapt tools and structure to fit your brain—practical supports, clear plans, and flexible systems that don’t rely on “willpower” or perfection.
If you have access needs (sensory, processing speed, breaks, agenda-setting, reminders), we’ll bring that right into our work. -
Yes—English is my primary coaching language, but I also speak Arabic and Hebrew as second languages and I’m comfortable working with clients who are multilingual or living internationally.
If you regularly switch languages or want to bring in words from another language for meaning, that’s welcome.
If you’re looking for full sessions in a specific language other than English, tell me what you need and I’ll let you know what I can offer. -
Yes. I regularly work with globally rooted clients and people in intercultural or interfaith families. I myself lived half my life outside the USA and identify as a 3rd culture kid. We can include cultural context, identity complexity, and belonging as part of the coaching.
-
Not at all. Coaching can be fully secular. If you want spiritual support, we can integrate it in a way that’s consent-based and grounded. I’m a rabbinical student, and I can draw from Jewish grief wisdom and seasonal practice by request—never as a requirement.
