I’ve always been a storyteller, and writing is more than a passion for me. It is my creative and spiritual process, the way I make sense of my inner and outer worlds.

Over the years it has also become a way to help others make sense of theirs and I have written for and coached many people in their process.

Much of my writing stays private, but below is a selection of work that is public.

Read excerpts from my creative spiritual practice: writing about grief, gratitude and spiritual creativity.

Waging Nonviolence. October 6, 2026 To build stronger movements we need to grieve together Argues that shared, structured spaces for mourning, like the grief circles and listening practices I have run since October 2023, help organizers steady their nervous systems, resist numbness and stay in long-term movement work.

Mondoweiss. November 19. (2023). Bassem and Ahed Tamimi are in Israeli prison because they stand for Palestinian freedom An opinion piece drawing on thirteen years of knowing the Tamimi family, arguing that Israeli authorities target peaceful Palestinian organizers.

A chapter written with Jack Persekian in What About Activism?, edited by Steven Henry Madoff, alongside contributions from curators and thinkers including Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev, Nicolas Bourriaud and Hans Ulrich Obrist.

7th Berlin Biennale. (2012). State of Palestine A text in Forget Fear, the biennale’s reader edited by Artur Żmijewski and Joanna Warsza, which gathered artists, activists and political figures working through art.

Also published in The Guardian, HuffPost, Boston Globe, Newsweek and Yes! Magazine.
